• KEY

Built on the same core engine and chassis architecture as the Grand Touring GSX-S1000GT+, the 2024 GSX-S1000GX+ adds the ergonomics and stance of the Adventure Touring V-STROM 1050, and it introduces new features and advanced functions that establish the GX+ as Suzuki’s innovative Sport Crossover model. On the GX+, superbike-level performance, technology that inspires confidence, optimized comfort, and connectivity add up to a premium sport touring experience.

Through the introduction of the Suzuki Advanced Electronic Suspension (SAES) and the adoption of the new, innovative Suzuki Road Adaptive Stabilization (SRAS) system, the long suspension of the GSX-S1000GX+ reaches a new level of performance. With these technologies, the GX+ is more comfortable and easier to manage on roads from urban streets and concrete highways to uneven, winding mountain roads.

• ENGINE

Refinements to the long-stroke GSX-R engine in the GSX-S1000GX+ yield a broad, smooth torque curve across the entire rev-range, along with higher peak horsepower.

• TRANSMISSION & DRIVELINE

As on a GSX-R1000, the race-proven, six-speed, close-ratio transmission of the GSX-S1000GX+ uses vertically staggered shafts to shorten the engine’s overall length.

• CHASSIS

A proven Suzuki twin-spar aluminum frame helps to ensure agile handling and great road-holding ability. The main spars run in a straight line from the steering head to the swingarm pivot, a layout that promotes greater rigidity and reduced weight.

• SUZUKI INTELLIGENT RIDE SYSTEM (S.I.R.S.)

Following the lead of the Hayabusa, Suzuki’s flagship sportbike, the GSX-S1000GX+ adopts the Suzuki Drive Mode Selector Alpha (SDMS-a) system, which offers integrated management of several advanced electronic rider assist features within S.I.R.S.

• BODY & STYLING

The goal of the aerodynamic design was to provide maximum wind protection and increase the rider’s comfort by cutting down on sources of stress such as exposure to cold and the elements. This helps lessen fatigue on long-distance tours at speed and leaves the rider free to focus on enjoying the journey.
